Taming

Postby Rexe21 » Mon Apr 09, 2018 4:18 pm

I want to ask about taming...
Well i was trying taming i got boar with clover and attach him to the pole and wait... 12 hours later i checked if it aggro me but not so i checked at 16 hours and 24 hours... The boar was like "jumping" in same spot as at 12 hours so i though that something is wrong so i was searching and found something about that the "taming animal will enter battle stance and then we need to aggro it" so i did it and at the start of combat i think 0 showed above the boar and then i hit peace and fight just using punch... The animal fleed and since it was in "box" it do not run too far. I tried to attach it again but nothing happens so after like 1hour came back to him and he was jumping in spot so i aggro him again but this time he did not run away even that i was peace and no numbere were above a boar head...
So how this thing work... Where do i make mistake ;-;?

If it shows the 0, it means you reset the taming process.

The number needs to hit 100 to become a tamed animal.
Just attach the animal to the post and then wait for as long as needed until it spreads its legs. That's the battle stance.
Only then, attack it.
If the boar jumps or sits, it doesn't do jack, so just ignore it and wait.

So i found a wild Sheep this time and i feed her some clover and take her on rope and tethered it to the stick and the yellow point was 15 now here are questions:
-Does sheep spread its legs when it is in battle stance?
-How long i need to wait for battle stance?
-After beating sheep i need to feed it with clover again and rope it?
-How long after another tethering i shoudl wait?

1) Yes, the legs will be like /\ when it's ready for its taming beatdown
2) It varies, in my experience. 12-24 hours.
3) Just rope it and hitch it again
4) See 2
