I noticed the shop does not specify whether hats can be stolen, unlike the tokens or the sketchbooks.

So, can they?

Nope, disappears when you try to pick it up.

Nope, disappears when you try to pick it up.

It re-appears to your hearth fire when it disappears, so they can not be stolen from you.
