Did the rapture happened?

Postby BetrayalAtK » Tue May 08, 2018 12:01 am

Decided to login after a long hiatus (since November 2017), to find my entire estate crumbled to dust. No surprise there, but decided to look around and found that all my neighbors are also dust in the wind. Nothing left behind except stone and brick floors. I check a couple of them, one community in particular had a extensive land, all builded up, which was the one that surprised me the most to find completely gone, the only thing standing is a Knarr rotting away in the river with a cringy anime girl on the sails.

Did something of importance happened? or all the people around me decided to quit the game at the same time?

That's natural nothing really happened population hasn't spiked in either direction.
Some areas get abandoned and other areas thrive.
I sometimes hear people saying there is no where to settle but seems where OP lives is a perfect lonely place.

Well at least 2 of them were really close, and spread out were like 5 players or smalls group, the ones that were close were really big communities, counting the H-fires up to 12+ players, everyones gone. And their states are dust. Only thing standing are really resilient stone constructions, even the crops crumbled down, a sign of neglect and long term decay. Made me think people were running from the plague or something.

No, crops are destroyed by players to deny others access to quality seeds. Same is happening for trees and containers (which will just be dumped to despawn).

Same thing, a guy takes one year off and it is a ghost town.

At least my cave and mines are still intact.

Now to figure out how to rebuild.
