Hardcaps on rock crystals

Postby kris_hole » Sat May 12, 2018 10:31 am

Is the hardcap a combination of stats or just either stat?

The wiki says its Psyche and Masonry against your tool, but does that mean that its either:

A) Minimum value of either: Psyche, Masonry or Tool
B) Sqrt(Psyche*Masonry) < Tool
C) (Psyche+Masonry)/2 < Tool

Some numbers would be helpful to give us a clue. Generally, if you have a tool and two attributes, it's the geometric mean of all (product of all numbers taken as the nth root; n being the number of items calculated).

It's B. Root(psy*masonry) and hard capped by tool.

Reworded the article. Thanks for pointing out the issues. Check it out and let us know if it's better (should be... at least it doesn't repeat information or leave holes.)
