What can a new player offer to an old player?

Hello!
I'm an old player, who played in many different worlds, but every time I started when a new world was born, and the only time I've started playing in an old world - was my very first game. And now, having a desire to play the game, but willing to do so in a new world - I can't see any w11 coming soon. Therefore I'm looking to break my stereotypes about old worlds, to play without waiting for the new world.

So the question: as a new character, what can I offer to older player who is playing currently? Or am I socially dead as a new character?

Pearls, pepper, cheese, gray clay q30+ and up, bars of cast iron, etc.

There are also stands at CF that are constantly buying stuff like cast iron, different types of cloth, leather, butter porridge, etc.
