Bring a Tangled Bramble to...

I am doing the forager credo - and I was instructed to bring a tangled bramble to a certain quest giving tree.

Well, I found the tree and I have the bramble. Here I stand. How do I give the bramble to the tree? I have tried clicking the tree but it only gives me the regular options, pick branch take bark etc. I have tried left clicking the bramble on the tree. I have tried right clicking the bramble on the tree. I have tried ctrl clicking the bramble on the tree. I've tried shift click, and I've tried dropping the bramble.

Any ideas?

You're supposed to right click the tree while holding the item

Solved. *blush * I was trying to use a thorny thistle, not a tangled bramble... ROFLMAO
