Combat skills

So I couldn't run amber client, thus playing with original client...
Cannot figure out how to use combat skills? Anyone?

I'm not sure if that's how it is with default client, but to use combat skills you need to be in combat and have a combat deck set up in your character menu. During combat a menu will appear and depending what your combat deck is, you will need to use 1 2 3 4 5 for the upper lane and shift+1 2 3 4 5 for the bottom lane.

So basically I cannot start combat vs chicken and other non-agressive stuff? If it's so, it's bad, very bad

Did you take the hunting skill ? If you did there should be an attack icon (sword) on left menu.

maybe the will to power can give you the ability to fight

yes, I'm pretty sure the will to power skill is what gives you the ability to attack creatures.
