Bond of blood and soil butterfly

Postby keroba » Thu Jul 05, 2018 1:18 am

Quick question. Infound a Bond of Blood and Soil butterfly on the ground. The abandoned claim was nothing but a stone floor. A headless skeleton was on the ground, nothing happened when I right clicked it. If I right click the butterfly it asks for a "name". What do I do with it??? I don't remember where the claim was because I was on a "Greet so and so" quest. Is this of any use?

You can put it in your study, and eventually the claim will become yours. If you don't know where the claim is, it's sorta useless for you.

Suppose I'll lay it on a beach somewhere and let some wanderer find it, haha. Or dump it in the water for a fisherman :) Thanx brother!

Alright, so the butterfly is in my study desk soon to be completed. I have a general idea of where this claim might be, not at all a place I would pick, anyways, if I click on the ""show personal claim" icon above mini map, It should show me if I have found the claim right? Another unrelated question, are wild sheep able to jump stick fences? I caught one, tethered it into pen, returned a few hours later and it was gone. was unable to hook it to a hitching post.

The bond has to be in your actual study to be studied. The study desk is just a queue for it.

The show p. claim just shows it on the land. If the claim becomes yours, and you walk up to the claim it will be blue instead of red.

No, but if they're not tethered and you're not watching them they'll despawn. You have to hitch it to a hitching post to tame it.

If they aren't attached to this hitching post they despawn after some time (I don't rememeber how long it was)
to attach them, right click (with the rope) on the hitching post (make sure that you click on the hitching post and not on the ground below it) - im pretty sure this will work :)
