Vine decay after a claim

Postby stiffhorns » Mon Jul 09, 2018 5:40 pm

I found a huge abandoned area that had tons and tons of vines decaying the stone. I decided to take it over because it was a nice area and I wanted to restore it, my question is do the vines stop decaying the stone now that I've placed a village claim on top of the whole area? I've been destorying the vines here and there but there are sooo many that it's almost impossible to do, not to mention that getting rid of vines is a pain in the ass (wish there was a easier way tbh) So I've had to claim a few weeks now and it's hard to tell if new ones are forming or if the old ones are still decaying stone. The whole area is covered by a village claim now so nothing should be decaying but I don't know about the vine mechanic. If anyone could help me figure this out and provide an answer much would be appreciated. Thank you!

Vines afaik are driven by decay, thus they should be dormant on an active claim.
