Okay so I was out doing my nomad credo the other day when I happened upon a grisly sight: a broken wall, out of which spilled the corpses of a dozen sheep, starved because they were too stupid to wander back into range of the feed trough that was still holding food for them.
So as to not make waste I harvested what I could but juuust as I was heading away, a lone ram walked among the bodies. He was a fine specimen aside from having nearly succumbed to starvation himself. Importantly, he was intact. I leashed him up and took him home with me figuring his owner would not be able to care for him before he wandered out and starved himself again in the forest. Frankly I'm not even sure the owner was alive, and he was unbranded to boot.
His satiety is zero. His wellfedness is just a couple of pixels. I've left him in the pen with my ewes hoping he would at least follow his biological imperative before fully succumbing. There's a food trough near him full of food twice as good as he is. He has neither mated with the ewes, nor died - but his 'satiety' meter isn't rising. I know his wellfedness meter can't rise anymore, but I'm wondering if he bugged and should, in fact, be dead.
What should I expect here? Should I keep trying to breed him and feed him? Should I keep looking for a ram of my own?
