cant interact with corpses in shallow water?

i killed a badger and the corpse is in the water and i can't lift or butcher it
intended?

Its a bug that's been around for a while. you can lift it by clicking on the minimap icon though.

There is always a part of animal, that stays over the water, and u should aim that with pointer finger to lift it up. The problem is some animals have just a couple of pixels to interact, and sometimes they may be completely hided, when killed on high land border tile. Also, while using minimap icon mostly work, u can have some issues, if the corpse is hiding behind some cattails, or mussels cluster

Possibly someone should ask loftar to make corpses slightly float on water (instead of sitting on the ground) - preferably before he forgets what he did to make them walk on the ground (instead of the water surface), as adding floating for dead mobs would be the opposit operation.

They should just fix the actual problem and stop transparent layers from blocking interaction.

It would be a pretty cool touch of realism to see animated floating corpses though the more that I think about it.

Won't make any effect, since it would only "not show" icons, though they will still be there and block interactions.
Devs need to make any newly icons to be on top-layer (and generally all critters must be showed on top-layer)
