Is there any way to paint buildings?

I built a house and i want to make it look more like a barn. Is there any way to use paints to change the color of the house?

no. only using variable materials when building.

If you want to change the material colors without tearing down and rebuilding, you can use the sketchpages from the store to change the material displayed. Player made ones from in game items won't work for this. if you don't wish to purchase these pages from the store directly, there are usually someone selling them at the community fair or you can put up an offer in the Apples for Oranges section.
