Hafen Ender Client - Connection refused: connect

I recently downloaded Ender Client and every time I log in it says "Connection refused: connect".

I have tried a password reset but it didn't work. It always says "Connection refused: connect" even if i intentionally incorrectly type my password.
This only happens on Ender Client and not the vanilla client.

Is there any way to remedy this?

perhaps ender is now out of date, and its refusing to connect since its not meeting the criteria for the current server version. you may want to try other clients.
