if you walk through the gate you get a visitor buff, with that you cant do anything.... but
You can get rid of it, by for example going down a minehole and back, or getting outside the claim etc.

A properly secured base will provide no means of access without giving the visitor flag. There are ways around it if the players managing the village aren't aware of all the flaws in the design, though you probably can't count on such things.
