Can someone explain to me how suiciding for credos works? Ive been reading it everywhere for a while but never understood the mechanics at play. get ready for new world on the 18th boyes

Quite from the wiki:

In order to complete a Credo you need to complete 10 quests per Credo you already have, so 10 for the first Credo, 20 for the second, and 30 for the third, and so on. .... The number of quests you need to complete is reduced by ten every time you die, to the initial minimum of ten. Completed Credos are inherited in their entirety when you die.

Succinctly, let's call x your number of completed credos. The number of quests you need to complete is (x+1)*10, and you simply reduce x by 1 when you die, to a minimum of 0.

The wiki is there for when you do have a question, not necessarily for you to follow like a walkthrough. For the most part, such things have been left out unless the rules for using a mechanic aren't easy to follow.
