Nasty Laceration heals over time

Postby DauntlessGolem » Tue Jan 15, 2019 2:37 am

Can anyone else confirm this? I had a nasty laceration wound and after two IRL days, it went down by one point (6 -> 5). I ask because I couldn't find anything on the forums and the wiki doesn't state that it does.

+1, not that it will matter anyway.

You use any magical healing items, aka ancient roots? They apply healing across multiple wounds if you have more than one.

Could be a rounding issue, too, though I've not heard of any issues with this before.

No access to ancient root where I'm located. The tool tip says it naturally heals over time, but I've never seen any reports on the forums, so I didn't want to assume. Mine did heal down by one, so I hope it'll heal naturally. If it does I'll edit the wiki.

If the tip in game says it heals over time, then it should. Some wounds take a day or two a point if not treated, others heal up fairly fast, a point an hour or better.

the wiki gets out of date frequently. Things get changed in game without gettign into patch notes sometimes. We just don't have enough dedicated wiki editors.

Indeed nasty lanceration heals very slowly over time, like 1 hp per day
You always have a choice - heal it fast with toad butter but get permanent wart, or heal with hq stitch patch, to get higher debuff but faster healing.

I'd happily edit changes on the wiki if I wasn't so new. Should I continue making posts about small things like this if there is no relevant topic, or just edit the wiki when I come across it?

I'm patient and don't need the agility. Five days it is!

There some options if you doubt about some information:
1 Join Hedgehugs discord - i and few good people always in wiki channel
2 Go on talk page of related item on wiki
3 Make post like it. Eventually i will see it and fix wiki

If you sure with some information ofc you can just edit - just don't forget leave a note about what and why you changed it - we got some trolls before and local admin now keep an eye on new members(before you get trusted)

We* would love more wiki editors. If it's clearly in the game, feel free to edit it in without checking. if it's something you're not sure about, check the content guidelines or bring it up for discussion here or on the page's talk section (though I think those don't get checked frequently).

*I include myself, but recently I haven't been on the wiki much as I haven't been playing much, so maybe I shouldn't include me?
