Found corpse - how long til it decay to a skeleton

I was exploring for food and strings when i stumbled upon the corpse of an unfortunate soul, probably murdered by a thousand ants.

Brought it back to base and now i'm wondering, how long until i can make a sweet skull pole? How long does a body take to decay into a skeleton?

EDIT : It decayed, so probably 8 hrs i guess?

Exactly. For exact numbers, it is 50 INT and 50k(?) LP to become a "developed" hearthling. This is mostly so people have to jump a decent sized hoop to farm alts to make these things.
