How to raid a Bee Hive?

Just tried to raid a beehive. Last world i'd done it with my main char and figured out they do insane damage (20-30 SHP per hit with 100% armor penetration) and a couple hundred health (Survived a 300 damage cleave.) so i knew i couldn't kill them. So i started, got them on me, and ran away, kiting them, ran back, started raiding it, same way you'd do to an Anthill.

And i tried four times, every time you try to raid it spawns another 2-3 bee swarms. What the heck? How are you supposed to raid these? You need the larva to make bee skeps so i wanted to gather some up early, but i have no idea how.

You'll need at least 4 or 5 alts, each in a line, to raid the hive in sequence of distance, to run bees away in an open clearing or some sort.

Then, you'll need about 3 to raid it and lure the new ones it spawns away. Eventually it'll stop spawning 4 different bee aggros, but it takes a while and you'll lose all the alts.

Basically, don't bother.

Really? Wow thats bullshit. Can't you smoke them out or something? If not jorb you need to add someway to smoke bees to deal with them.

and u need TEN of these weird bee thingies to make a piece of wax while it only requires 5 candleberries to make it...

Yep, now its like african killer bees too much OP... Should be much simpler way to raid them, its bs to use so many alts just to orbtain larvas. As solution can be som protective clothes,
also bee hive smoker, that calms them down and prevents from spawning additional swarms.

No good answers Eh? seems a bit ridiculous to try and get bee Skeps now and even harder to get wax
