Been playing on and off since 2014, never got to late game.

Hey guys,

As the title said I've been playing this game on and off since 2014 and I've never really reached late game. During every other times in the play-through I would start to stagnant with a farm, a house, and a bit of other stuff. How do I overcome this problem this time around? I usually play as a hermit but I was thinking I might start my own little village or settlement but probably not if I can't get into the groove of this game in this play-through.

What is the general run-down or milestones I should be going towards in order to reach late game?

If you're burning out with farming, try mining or hunting/explorer. Foraging becomes meh past mid game where metal and farm qualities start going up and curios from them outpace the foraged ones.

Some milestones: an active farm up and running; getting and raising tree quality; getting livestock for meat and eventually cheese; getting a mining area set up around ore; increasing ore production; producing steel; getting deeper mines; finding precious metals (gold, silver); increasing metal qualities; completing credos...; completing ALL the credos ( ); raid your enemies; raid your neighbors; go out in a blaze of glory.

If there is a part of the game that you're finding particularly tedious, joining a group, either directly or as trade partners, can let you focus more on what you enjoy.

Reaching endgame as a hermit is pretty dang hard. Friends are a must.
