Randomly spawned in new place

Postby fenrirfenix » Tue Feb 05, 2019 4:40 pm

Logged off in my house, next to my hearth fire. House gets destroyed. Somehow hearthfire gets destroyed? I log in and it says my last location not available, etc, so I log in at my hearthfire. Which puts me in a random spawn somewhere in the world. What the fuck?

I guess the real question is what is a good way to get my login blocked so I can re-teleport spawn closer to my old place, and not on the other side of the ocean

The chance of actually ending up anywhere near where you lived are slim to none. And generally speaking, your neighbours pretty clearly were trying to get rid of you. Do you really want to live next to them? Generally speaking bad neighbourhoods don't get better griefing wise over time.

As to your question, I think logging out with a carried object overhead (drops it) would have you log back in on an occupied spot. Not sure if it still works.

The group of people I was playing with are all back there and it seems there is an ocean between here and there. It looks more like opportunistic assholes because I made the mistake of leaving the back end of my house hanging off my claim. Nothing actually on my property was touched.

Is there a way to export map data? I've nearly circumnavigated a continent so it might be useful for someone doing world maps

You are quite honestly best off suiciding if you're determined to play with those people. With oceans involved, walking back within 10 hours just isn't happening. Sorry to hear it.

I'd ask in this thread about what they used/contributing. I haven't messed with mapping in a couple years.
