How do I deal with hunger?

Postby budzilla » Tue Feb 05, 2019 7:22 pm

I'm constantly sitting at stuffed/overstuffed. I'm using the best symbel I can when feasting and only eating when necessary, but still am constantly overfed..

Questing. Do a lot. It'll take a couple of hours to get started and get a list built up, but it'll burn your hunger off via quest rewards. Salt is also an option, but is always hard to find early world (first 30-60 days).

After you get it back into a bonus, Improve your symbel items. There are several changes that you need to read about in patch notes.

I'm assuming you're hitting this mostly because you're doing a lot of hard labour on your main character. If you avoid hard labour, sitting in hungry is pretty easy even with fighting/healing. Due to how the system works, the best ways to deal with hard labour are using alts to do it where applicable, and if that doesn't suit your palate you try to find the higher energy/hunger food available regardless of what random stats it gives just to avoid trashing your hunger bar. You'll have to play balancing act to recover from this abuse, but it's a choice you're making instead of using alts.

Rats on a stick and roast hoppers are good choices early on.

there's been a few high energy/low hunger foods added early game, and the pitbaked stuff, while not as efficient, are pretty good FEPs when made right. (check the 'cookbook' listed in The Wizards' Tower; needs updating with the food changes this world.)
