heal snake bites?

I have 6 or so adder bites and it says they will get worse before they get better. I had 67hp at the start of it and it keeps going up to 20 and then it goes down then it goes back up to 20???? Is it supposed to be going up and down multiple times? My character is gonna die if it keeps it up. Just curious, I was unsure whether or not to sleep. I slept for a couple hours and they were going down so I slept for another hour and realized they were going back up. Unsure what to do, thanks. Btw I have 20 hp left.

you will most likely die. there is no treatment for a snake bite. Not sure if the ancient root still heals it but its unlikely you will find any.

yeah I don't understand why it won't stop going up. It's supposed to go down after getting worse. pretty dumb.

It will go down eventually.

It's kinda random, every tick it'll go up or down, but it strongly trends upwards for a while, before trending downwards. With 6 you're gonna die, almost 100%.

You could try eating more CON foods just to raise your HHP.

You could live if you're otherwise healthy. You could live if the only other wounds you have are "heal on their own" type as they'll heal up as the adder bites are getting worse.

lmao It stopped at 1hhp. I'm so lucky. I had 6 adder bits and a fell slash/7. I did kill the snake I just ran out of stam running away from it. I should have clovered a horse. Stupid on my part. I just didn't expect to go from 67hhp to almost dead from adder bites as I've had them before and don't remember them being that vile. Oh well, now I know to take extra caution when killing snakes.
