I've an inkling that you cannot change the login names. You'd have to create a new account. If you're concerned about forum rules or money spent, the latter wouldn't be an issue as you could still use the one account you've bought things on to play, but use a different account to post to the forums. Just be sure to note the forum rules about using alt accounts to stir up needless drama.

While phpbb supports changing usernames in general it's not that trivial here as the forum is tied into the game server as the registration front end, changing the user might break things (like access to your character).

I'm also against that ability, as it likely would be used to spread confusion on the forums through breaking quotes and such.
