How do I make a Drying Frame?

I have hunting... I gathered 2 boughs, 5 branches and 2 spindly taproot...
Kept them all in my inventory.
I have no option to build a drying frame.

(sorry - I'm VERY new to the game)

be sure you have the discovery (i.e. picked them yourself from a tree/ground) for each. if you gathered them from a container, doesnt count.
if you have already covered those bases, try discovering a raw hide from a kritter.
if you've already done THAT, perhaps drying frames are unlocked by tanning and not hunting.

No, it's definitely hunting alone. you just didn't get the discovery for something.
