Visitor Gates Question

So if My village has no trespass perms for strangers (white group), what happens when someone with criminal acts opens the gate and walks through? Do they just lose the ability to move, or can they not walk through the gate?

1. don't have your gates unlocked
2. if they're unlocked a person can open them and pass through if they have visiting on, if they don't they won't be able to pass through and become a visitor.

If you mean picking the lock - it doesn't work on palisade (and therefore on vistor gates).
