Lost Claim

Postby Jimmehwat » Mon Feb 11, 2019 10:22 am

Hearthed home, and now I can't move anywhere because "This land is owned by someone." I'm guessing a few days ago when I was attacked by another player and knocked unconscious they stole my bond from my study report?

Is character kill, or is there anything I can do at all? EDIT: Got off my claim with toggling criminal acts, but is that area just gone until it decays?

Your claim is forfeit, better pack up and move.

As long as there isn't a fence with a gate, you're fine. Turn on criminal acts and you can leave. It'll leave a trespassing scent, but they disappear after 8 hours.

In the future, if you lose your bond, you can always claim a new one at your claim totem. This destroys any previous copies of a bond. it will cost half of the claim's presence, though.

I wasn't even aware you could take things out of someone's study report if they were just knocked out.

We were about to start a village claim, but since the personal claim is older it can't be revoked right? Do I have any other options?

If you don't control the claim? Find him and take it back. Otherwise, no.

yes but 'taking' the claim takes 96 hours for it to become yours whilst in your study report unless the original owner renews the bond within that 96 hours.

They just have to log in and make a new bond. It only really works against people who don't know the mechanic, it's mostly supposed to be for transferring claims.
