How often does RNG for farming change?

Hello,

So my question is how much time should I wait for the random number +- on crops change? In real time hours.

Ring of Brodgar wiki says 5 hours, and also that you can get an extra RNG chance if you plant >2 minimaps away. (Ignore the 'three qualities' part, that's from world 8.)

We'd love the help taking care of outdated information. Anyone can make an account. you don't have to be a wiki expert to do basic text edits, just know how to use a web-based word processor.
