How are ingredient FEPs calculated?

Postby Smoopadoop » Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:56 am

Does every ingredient have a set amount of feps it adds to a food?

For example, will adding blueberries to a Sorbet or a Fruitpie both add INT feps?
Or does each ingredient add different FEPs based on what its cooked into?

If the first one is true, is there somewhere I can see the stats of each raw ingredient?

This was a godsend with making food. Note I think it only tells base 10q food but its amazing at picking and choosing what stats you want.

it's some sort of modifier, but I don't think it's additive. If what someone figured out for Salem is true, it's similar to the way 3D objects are manipulated (linear algebra). The skills to reverse this process to figure out the multipliers are a bit beyond me.

The latter, for the math reason above. Generally, yeah, a blueberry will push towards adding INT, but in some recipes, it changes it differently

Aye, this and the wiki has everything posted as the base q10 for simpler comparisons. Quality simply acts as a multiplier on the FEPs given. q20 ~ 1.4x, q40 = 2x, q90 = 3x, etc.

As was explained, it's more or less magic. There aren't that many "good" recipes that are spammable and have good stat distributions so people just tend to memorize the best ones.
