How many minimap squares can a knarr travel in deep water?

Postby Sprinkle » Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:48 am

How many full minimap "squares" can a knarr travel when within deep water without breaking fully? I know the dugout can only travel about one full minimap square before breaking completely.
By the way, I don't mean "tiles" which is a separate thing, I'm meaning when you look at the minimap and you have one full square of map in the vision of it.

Depends on the knarr quality (it affects its speed therefore how far it can go during the same amount of time, and damage seems to be ticking proportionally with time).

In this thread viewtopic.php?f=47&t=63851 people claim ~10 mins for 25% damage. Not sure how accurate it is and it seems there are other factors (either bugs or some hidden mechanic) which make knarrs disappear from time to time.
Too old to rock-n-roll, too young to die.

Hmm that's not good about the bugs. I read the thread and it does indeed sound like a bug. The developers aren't going to let us know what's going on with that? It doesn't seem right to me that people are dying and losing knarr at 75% and we don't know what's going on..Those people should get their characters and knarrs back, as I don't think it's very fair if it's true.
