Staying to low SHP or high SHP

Currently with the KO changes is there still an incentive to stay at high SHP?
It seems like it would be better for new players to stay at low SHP (using leeches etc) to avoid getting massive wounds from PVP players.

Only the higher risk of getting ko'd by an animal, which is relatively unimportant.

Tip: Each push does 1 SHP damage, as does each criminal act. And as long as you stay below 8000% energy, you won't regain any SHP.

this, keep your energy between 6000 and 8000 and you can have few shp all the time, but would it knock you out if you picked up a hedgehog or would it only decrease the hhp pool?
