What actually will take time is to take down the parts you don't want anymore, because as usual with RNG when you want more damage it will actually just destroy a tile or two and that's it, so you move wrecking ball a little bit further, wait another 24h, rinse and repeat...

if you are making a small one place it in a way where you can leave it as interior wall, bashing pali is a waste of time especially when you are a hermit.
