When does a Bee Skep give wax?

Postby Thatguyintheback100 » Thu Feb 21, 2019 6:42 pm

I read the wiki and it didn't say much about how long it would be, just that a skep with no plants would be 13 days.

I've had it going for at least 4 rl days and i havent harvested the honey for 2> I keep walking by and right clicking it hoping for the harvest wax thingie to come up but it hasn't.

It'll have a different appearance when there is wax as well as when there is honey. As far as we know, the wiki is correct, but nobody has reported differently on anything from this world yet.

If the beeskep is actively feeding from plants, then the time to produce wax and honey is based on the number of crops pollinated. That, as far as I know, is still a bit of a mystery... or at least nobody has posted any science on the matter proving a mechanic in place.

I really need to know more, i got beeskep for a week and still no wax :/ im frustrated, wax is my only aim rigth now.
1. Is this actuall mechanic that i will have an option to "collect wax" by rigth-click after it will be ready?
2. If there is a full of crops around but there is also 8 beeskep in row its mean that i need to have more plants and move out beeskep far away from each other?
3. Wchich crops works with beeskep and which are useless for bees? (i want wax, no faster crops) I got some wheat, salad, carrot, hemp, but im doing it only for wax.
Plz gimme some advice, any welcome ;)

1. See above.
2. See the wiki for specific skep mechanics. http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Bee_Skep
3. Ones I know that do not interact with the skeps: grains (millet, wheat, barley), hemp, hops. Other than those, I don't recall specifics without digging them up.
