Minehole on islands

So anyone know if mineholes on islands work desame like on land? Or Will the ocean block me from mining further than the Island size?

They do work the same as on land, and in both cases the ocean blocks mining. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's deep ocean tiles that cause the block. If that's true you'd still have a decent amount of space.

The ocean which you can cross on dugout/rowboat doesn't block any mining.
