Recycle chickens back into swill?

Last time I did chickens I kept leaving them too long and they would grow up when I didn't want them to.
Wiki doesn't say that meat can be turned into swill. What do?

If turning them back into swill isn't viable, what do you guys do with your extra chickens?

Meat could be used in a feeding trough last I checked.

you can turn them into fat to be rendered down, too.
