How does one trade?

Postby TheDuke86 » Thu Feb 28, 2019 6:47 am

I came from Salem and the trade dacorum was meeting in Boston. I am unfamiliar with the trade methods on haven. Does one just meet in the wild? Through a visiter gate at the individuals base. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

"It depends." Traders generally require you to travel to their location, though some traders will deliver for a nominal fee, especially with not everyone having access to ocean travel. Meeting at random places is just too much of a burden.

For methods, players can build vendor and barter stands and use those to sell a selection of goods to other players at any time. Vendor stands require a coin to trade. Barter stands are goods for goods. Trading in person is still done, too, as long as you can coordinate location and times.

visitor gates are considered a must and nearly everyone is going to force you through them just to protect themselves from shenanigans.

Hope I answered your questions there.
