Very often when Im hunting specific type of fish it has low change of catch (to 10%), and very often after initial cast and choosing fish, in the next round that fish is gone from the list. Is this inteded?

If there are multiple types of fish in that area, the list changes to display them as well.

For example, if you can only see 2 fish on your list and there are 4 fish types in the area, it will sometimes switch between showing different fish types. Other areas also have different catch rates, so if you have a low catch rate somewhere, you can move elsewhere until you get a better catch rate.
