Mulch per item in compost bin

Postby Smoopadoop » Mon Mar 04, 2019 12:49 am

I haven't been able to find how much mulch I get per item I put into the bin.

Do different items have different amounts? If I throw in a whole pumpkin is it worth the sum of its parts?
If every item is worth the same, how much items do I put in to get 1 unit of mulch?

EDIT: and how much speed per worm added

The amount the compost bin is filled is equal to the amount of fodder if you were to put it in a trough or coop. In some cases, like pumpkin and lettuce (ones you can split), you're better off splitting the last I knew. This may have been changed since I last read up on it. You can see the values, so there's no harm in testing both ways. Or you can just go for convenience and dump pumpkins in.

I'm curious what the mulch to fodder ratio is as well.
