Bidirectional Milestones? (solved)

How do I create Milestones that allow bidirectional fast travel?

I created a Milestone at one point of interest, and made about 25 or so small milestones. Now I'm at the end of my path and I want to place another Milestone that when I click on it, will let me fast travel back to the other one, but I can't seem to do this. I tried to create one that "links to another milestone" but the fast travel for that literally just placed me at the one I clicked one that was beside it, and didn't take me across the map.

EDIT: What I did wrong was make a milestone and make the milestone connect to the small one. What I should have done was select the small one and link it to the big one. My mistake made two roads (one which was a segment long). Oops!
