acquiring bones, hides and meat question

hello, been a long time since I played Haven and just came back.

Last time I played I was teamed up with another village who supplied me with just bones, hides and meats so I never learned how to actually hunt or anything alike that.

What would be the best way to aquire bones? I'm just starting out and need quite a few bones for my study desk and other cool stuff.
