Yes, same as always. Use the best symbel you can. use bonefires when available. Use other items that will boost your FEP gains/minimize hunger. Just pay close attention to satiations as they don't creep up this world, you get hit for a 20 or 30% reduction all at once, and then have to wait them out.

Huge time restriction. Get various foods from different food groups and eat when satiations are not shit yet. This world is the hardest yet, in terms of coming back from a death.

In addition to what's being discussed, questing for the hunger reduction to keep you in 300% when you're ready to eat after your satiations go away is important for optimal FEP gain.

Non-optimal try not to eat trash and eat when your satiations empty. Try to hit as many different foodgroups as possible, and avoid ones that overlap between useful ones (onion skewer = evil because it hits meat and vegetables, two power food groups). Symbel for hunger reduction isn't nearly as powerful, but still well worth using atm. Not sure about feasting, I usually get lazy about doing that since I'm no big faction boy.

Just having a table with a good chair (royal throne if you have metal) and good symbel items is feasting, just not at the "light the bonfire with high charisma" level. Anything that provides hunger reduction. The FEP bonus is just icing.

Does the type of chair (and its quality) affect the feasting boni granted? If so, does the table too?

Type of chair? Yes, Royal Throne is best.

Quality? No. Quality makes absolutely no difference. It can be quality 1 and provide the same bonus as a quality 100.

Table? Makes zero difference AFAIK. But someone correct me if I am wrong.

For the most part the most important things are your symbel, and your chair. You can also get higher bonuses by having a high CHA character light a bonfire, but that's been nerfed this patch and is not always viable or desirable (especially for hermits).

Thanks a lot. I added it to the wiki. Seems to more affect FEP bonus. I went from 75/3 to 72/7 with a switch from rustic chair to royal throne.
