stats to complete archer creedo

Postby joojoo1975 » Fri Mar 22, 2019 6:34 pm

so it would seem that I don't know how to shoot anymore.

can I get some stats I will need to be able to complete this credo without having to abandon every quest that asks me to either put an arrow in something or whatnot.

like what Q dose my bow and arrow need to be what # does my marksmanship and agility and what else needs to be to effectively hit my target every time. Also does it still need to aim a certain way or is it like the old days where you can target the thing you want to hit?

Press shift b to see the animal bounding boxes. Yes they are all fucking different from where the model is. Yes you're just shooting at air.

You can just click your aim on their icon while in combat with them. Do it from a boat. Take all the time you need to aim. Piss easy to hit stuff.

You have to be at least 8 tiles away from the archery target.

I'd advice kiting the target to a narrow river and shooting from the opposite bank instead. You get a penalty to max aim when in the boat.

I mean... does it matter? You can sit 1 tile away from the animal, max aim with like 10-20mm on a Q10 bow and never miss.

When the target in question is adder I find the difference quite noticeable. And the amount of "put an arrow in an adder" credo quests I was getting made me rethink what I knew about hunters and nomads...

Ah, I've never seen "put an arrow in a non liftable corpse" creature. Across 5 character's hunter credos this world.

Odd.
