Linseed Oil for Sketch?

I did some searching but I might just be missing a phrase or something when trying to find the answer

If my sketch needs 800L of linseed oil... Do I need to make a cistern in order to use it? Or will the game know if I have 8 barrels full of linseed nearby? How do people make sketches that require more than 1000L?

edit: Is it actually 80L? I only have 20L so I can't test it, but the icon is misleading. I just want to be SURE.

Each unit is .01L if your sketch requires 100 oil it's 1L, 1000 oil = 10L.

However, also note if you use a poorly designed (read: not highly optimized to be used in loftar's image app) image, it's going to require a lot more oil than necessary, sometimes orders of magnitude greater

To answer your question though: yeah, use barrels or a maybe a cistern. You can have multiple barrels opened at once. Push comes to shove a cupboard can hold 16 buckets/160 liters

You need to actually open the barrels - you should be able to open eight barrels if you position them all around you carefully although I have never tried with that many, 800 ltrs is a lot and I would think with that complicated a sketch the pscyhe requirement and the amount of pigment required would also be prohibitive but gl.

I most likely misread it and it's probably 80L, but now I know if I'm able to someday do the bigger stuff.
