Help finding Vortex

Good day everyone,

I'm on the west continent (-142,45) and I want to travel to the middle continent. I have nothing. I was told there is a vortex on the continent I'm on that leads to the continent I want to be on.

Does anyone know which one it is or if it exists and where it is? please be kind enough to help me.

WPs are completely random. If you have access to one, you can usually end up on the continent you want to go to even though you might have to spend a fair bit of time travelling on it to get where you want to be on said continent.

I've definitely been to W continent WPs, but because I haven't explored around them I couldn't pin them on the map sorry. Do you have a realm chat, or a realm nearby? You could try asking there and they'd likely have better local knowledge.

I found the nicest person in the game lol. he built me a boat and showed me the way to a vortex. we have no idea where it leads but im praying for the best. and before him another nice guy game me tar. this journey im making is making me have faith in the ppl playing this game again. thank you for replying. ill close this thread since im no longer searching for a vortex. im just gonna take the one near me and pray or the best.

If you want to jump into a vortex sitting together in one boat... Well, inheriting is fun some people say.

OK here's what I learned from trying.

Vortexes dont lead to a specific place.

when you go in the same vortex twice, each time it will lead you to a different random vortex. So the same vortex can lead you to any other vortex in the world randomly each time.

I went in vortexes alone in a rowboat. When it lead me to vortex in the same continent it damaged my boat less than when it lead me to a vortex in a different continent.

I have the opposite experience. The destination is fixed for about a week and then all vortex network is reshuffled (and the last change happened quite recently, probably you entered the same vortex before and after the change). And vortexes form circular chains of different lengths (the shortest is just two, i.e. you can jump there and back, the longest - dunno, I've seen at least 5 jumps long chains).

When it lead me to vortex in the same continent it damaged my boat less than when it lead me to a vortex in a different continent.

The damage %% is random. And doesn't seem to be dependent on the destination. Also I am quite sure the server can't tell continents apart.
