Spreadsheet for Gilding Sets

Postby Timibertlense » Wed Apr 03, 2019 10:10 am

Hi Guys,

i started to create a sewing set yesterday with 2 Linen Shirts, 2 Linen Pants and a Quilted Wadding gilded to each of those equipment parts and got an amazing bonus of it, which makes me pretty happy! :D

But it took my some time to investigate the Wiki to see what's the best Equipment + the best Gilding for my plans ( http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Gilding )
I'm still not sure if i found the best for my actual situation (don't have silk) and it was only for sewing and only the 4 main equipment Parts,
so i guess it takes much more time to evaluate the correct sets (including Hats, Capes, Shoes, ...) for all the attributes (cooking, farming, smithing....)

And here is my Question/Idea:
Is there any good Spreadsheet or something like this, which could help me losing not to much time while finding my perfect equipment?
I guess it would help many new player or hermits who does not have the time to think about it hours of hours ;)

If not: let's brainstorm about a new Spreadsheet =)

If you have tailor credo: try to pick a gilding that does not match any of the gilding attributes on the item in question.

Remember, your skill level in the gilding attribute will affect your % chance. If you are a tailor trying to gild a Bear Cape with a Bear Tooth, try to get someone with high strength to gild the item. Always test % by right-clicking with everyone involved to see who has the highest percent chance.

My sewing sets look like this: Feather Trinket (for dex); Quilted Wadding ; then others, depending on the materials I have on hand.

Last world I decided that apart from wool clothes being good for farming, pretty much everything else came down to 'make lots of whatever is cheapest, and recycle it a lot' in order to get higher level artifacts. Wolverine boots or fisherman's hats might have that 5% more affinity with something but they are so much of a pain in the neck to make that it's not usually worth it.
