so i was wondering how to be a exclusive fisherman. statup will, perc, int only, OR, con and agi to be a archer later on. also only exploration and survival early on right, the only thing ya gonna do is travel fishin and gatherin water stuff, wo fghin i guess.

also ya dont need to craft anyin, only trade, so ya can live in a small islet with some towers to stock yr yet to sell stuff and thats pretty much ur game.

also later on buy a knarr and travel the mf world, pretty good i think

I was actually tempted to try something like that this world. But as I don't play alone the plan shifted to try it later on an alt. Still in the plans lol. It feels quite viable and potentially enjoyable path for a gameplay which doesn't involve a lot of long play sessions. Knowing myself the part of not crafting anything doesn't sound viable though. To make you a proper fisherman you need different lures and that involves different stuff. And if you want to build a nice (but still humble) settlement you need different materials and discoveries and shit...

entrail should cover the most part i guess, the other stuff ya perhaps can strike a deal with a super faction to provide fish or even simply be part of it as a member why not, but ya dun involve yrself in anythin else, also ya can have a nice islet midway

ofc as solo everythin is harder, but fisherman is harder of al since even solo ya have some critical steps to max efficiency that every does, lots a tedious stuff

myself i thought to creste this fisherman on world 12 and acquire beginners support for irl cash, be hats or otherelse, and the have the most pleasant journey from day one to apocalipse

moreover, i can avoid loads of drama nd potential death

in any case fish is a nice comodity for solo if ya can have the right gear for it, but most ppl wont create such a uselesscharacter in everythin else wo some sureness of profit, karnn highq would be a wet dream and loads of expensve chests to hoard sealife


obvz fisherman is not about loads of profit, but to hype, also to create a trend for like mindness, also should be great for live stream when sea areas sufer a major upgrade, ya perhaps even can spand ur influence and prop ears from behing the scenes with by denying fish for a hateful faction and selling cheaper for other, all in handshakes deals that ur instant friends would erase ur troubles, eventually owning every islet out there and manufscturin a extensive network that if ya fall many shall suffer, thus protectin ur pescefull gameplay


btw all mussles is not to be boiled and traded raw, it create a nice network of bsns, speccially if someday bots are denied ingame
