We have just gotten some cows and heard they eat insane amounts of food when preggo, we want to prep so we don't run out of swill. Or whats your farming situation as an example of how much feed you grow (ie, you have 5 cows and grow 20 beets per cow)?
Cows grow and breed rather slowly. At the initial stage, the hermit does not make sense to breed a huge population of animals, there are enough 4-5 cows that give milk, 1 bull, and replace them with better animals as they breed.
All this makes the quality increase rather slow, and at the initial stage we fed the cows with flax and hemp seeds. Flax grows quickly and produces many seeds that are conveniently stored in a barrel.
However, now we switched to beets and carrots 120-130ql. With the farmer’s creed, three beds of 60 beets each and three beds of carrots, 25 each, are enough to feed 6 cows, 6 sheep, 4 horses, and 4 chicken coops.
By itself, the beds are sown immediately or almost immediately after ripening.
