Back in the day base stat was average of mother's and father's stat, softcapped by father's breeding, and then -5/+20 random value added. Then it was changed to picking either mother's or father's stat (50% chance for either) instead of averaging. But I don't remember breeding stat effect ever getting changed, so I'm assuming it still uses father's breeding to softcap numeric stat. IDK how percentage stats work, I'm guessing uncapped by breeding.
