need help, game closes on start

Ok so I can't play for some reason, I start the game with java and i see a small black box and then it disappears quickly. Please someone help sigh.

my java is up to date and verified

We need to know some things: Operating system (version number also), Java version, which client you're using (is it up to date?), graphics device (and driver version)

Another help is if you can get a crash log. If it's not spitting out to your screen, it should at least get copied to your primary storage. Search your Java installation for the file "hs_err_pid.log". It might be elsewhere in storage if it's not found where Java is installed. This should be the last crash report generated by Java.

This could be one of several issues. Without further information, there's not much we can help with.
