how to protect a drying pclaim?

some certain individuals have taken an interest in stopping by and destroying anything I leave outside my house every few minutes. does building an alt-ring around it still work? can they not shove you?

Posting this as I'm smashing up someone's claim whose trying to claim a unique resources and a cave less than 1 block from where I clearly setup camp.

Nah, claim drying is a great mechanic. Find your own spot.

Also think of it this way. Take it as good sign that they're doing this now. Instead of a week from now when they poop sock their stats into the hundreds and just roll over murder you and steal all your shit.

i been playing since world 3, and this one is my first post just to say that u can´t protect ur claim in any way. So, if u are a lonely player and dont wanna join up with major factions best thing that u can do is just to give up, i already placed four claims and all of them was destroyed, i try to protec it with leantos, but they Will get destroyed, i try to protec them puting near a Cliff and surrounded with sleeping chars, they just lift ur bed with u inside and destroy ur claim, only way to protect it is to do like 5 alters and surround it, but i dont have the time or the energy to do that, i just bring one alter to my main and that because spawned pretty clossed, i dont wanna to make like 100 alters to hope that some of them spawn near ur main just to surround ur claim, in the maintime the mayor factions are progressing and we poor hermits souls are just figthing to put a claim in the world, but what is the problem? i seen an army of alters everywhere with water buckets around all the world just for destroy claims, i suppose that the major of those are just alters from the major factions or bored ppl who dont care about the game and are here just for fuck u. In previous worlds u had a time (like a week) to protect urself againts murderers and thiefts claiming ur Little piece of land and later building a palisade, the problem? u cant ever put ur claim, so if u are a lonely hermit ur only hope is pray that no one finds ur claim in 8 hours, pretty imposible if u dont have a lot of luck.
This world is just for mayor facations, maybe in 3 or 4 months all try again and claim a piece of land in the most remote and poor zone of the world, maybe i have luck and i can build my Little farm.

You just need to pay some extra LP (if you were to make all the claims with single character.)

Even the major factions have problems with griefing and asshattery the first days of a world. It's why they push so hard for that first claim and a wall.

Never build in an area that has dickheads who'll break your claim. I always look for a remote area and if anyone fucks with the claim, I move on.

Breaking a pclaim is basically harmless. Breaking down your established base and despawning all your shit isn't, and that's what it'll turn into.
