How do I inherit please

Sorry but have only just started game this world.

I have heard you can inherit some of your stats - is this true. and if so how do I do it? (sorry for being a Noob)

Also I have completed a Credo, do I inherit that too ? or not ?

Can I choose the same name ?

Will I have my friends still 'friended' on my new character?

When your character dies, you have to make a new one.

When you go near the wizard to give him your name, there is a graveyard that has the graves of all your deceased characters.

When you visit their graves, you have the option to inherit them. When this happens, you'll inherit any FINISHED credos in their entirety, and 15% of your LP and stats.

Burying the body will get you an additional 20%, and the skull gives 10%. So if you inherit your character and bury the entire body, you gain a total of 45% of your LP and stats.

Once you've inherited your deceased character, you will also respawn at your original hearthfire, unless it's been destroyed.

You'll have to pick a new name, because your other name is already recorded on your account. I usually do something like "<Name> II" when I end up dead.

You will have to readd them, as they will have your original character friended instead.
